Chad

Coming to Utah from Wyoming with a background in engineering and theater, Chad completed his training at the Taylor Andrews Academy of Hair Design in West Jordan, Utah. In 2005, Chad performed alongside Phillip Wilson at the International Salon and Spa Exposition in Los Angeles. Chad was named one of Beacon’s top hair students in the same year and won the Utah cosmetology award. Chad has taken his training to another level to excel in cutting, coloring, hair extensions, and makeup application. Chad is knowledgeable in many aspects of the salon business and his talents range from the scientific to creative ends of the spectrum.

Chad has been fortunate to work under industry giants Phillip Wilson, Nicholas French, Oscar Bond, Vivienne MacKinder & Brian, and Sandra Smith. As well as world-renowned photographers Babak, Keith Bryce, and Manicproject, where work has been published and seen worldwide countless times. He resides in Salt Lake City, Utah, and gives back by offering advanced education at the local cosmetology schools. This two-time North American Hairstyling Awards Finalist (Avant Garde 2010 and Texture 2010) and two-time Southwest Hairstyling Awards Finalist (Master Stylist 2015 and SW Hairstylist of the Year 2016) is drawn to Avant-Garde styles and sees beauty in the most ordinary of things. Chad is also trained through Deva Curl, and is level 1 "Inspired".
